Concert on the lawn - Gunn Stage, lead by Elisabeth Bowersox

Previously known as The Bowersox Band, Gunn Stage burst onto the San Diego music scene guns blazing. The band debuted in March 2024 and was originated by front woman and San Diego native Elizabeth Bowersox (vocals/guitar), who is a classically trained vocalist with roots in musical theater and opera. 

Gunn Stage came to fruition when she met PJ Sweeney (drums) and Peter Merritt (guitar) while working on a festival project in 2023. After a short stint of performing as a trio, they met Leslie Ramsey (bass) and the transformation was complete.

Dazzling visuals and awe-inspiring dynamics characterize their high-energy performances and top notch production value. Drawing inspiration from classic rock bands like Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and Pat Benatar, they put their own spin on rock and roll with styles similar to that of KT Tunstall, Jade Bird and Miley Cyrus. Garnering fans from far and wide, Gunn Stage attracts concert goers who love a boot-scootin', hair flippin', whiskey shootin' good time.
Gunn Stage is named after a road located in Ramona, CA, a small town 30 miles east of San Diego, where Elizabeth grew up. The importance of connecting with one's roots is prevalent in Gunn Stage musical workings and they carry this attitude wherever the road takes them.
